Pre-Ugadi Sale Held at Anagha

Usha Ragunathan of USHAS, Chennai, had a one-day pre-Ugadi sale at ANAGHA on 5th April, 2008. Her collection comprised rare combinations in Kanjeevaram Silks, Silk-Cottons, Pure Cottons and Polycots. Her collection of Cholies were exquisite. Sarees were priced between Rs. 600/- to Rs. 10,000/- and Cholies between Rs. 990/- to Rs. 1300/-.

Book Launch: Usha Akella

Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad & Akshara Bookstore launched ‘A face that does not bear the footprints of the world’ written by Usha Akella. The book was launched by Dr. Shiv Kumar on April 2nd at Goethe-Zentrum Hyderabad and excerpts from the poetry were read by the Little Theatre, Hyderabad and the poet.
