Inclusive Cricket Part Of Sports Festival

Physical Literacy Days celebrated Sports Festival week. Many participants turned up in large numbers and participated in different sports at physical literacy days stage, on the occasion of Sports festival. Dr. Reddy Foundation came up with the concept of ‘Inclusive Cricket’, where people played blind folded cricket. Vijaya Thuprani Zumba fitness instructor took Physical Literacy days activities to another level. Dr. Mani Pavitra gave tips to people with her yoga and Deepak Mourya entertained the crowd with Bollywood dance.

Other events included Fitness Challenge by GRYCS, Skating by D- Chameleon, Cycling by Kondapur Health Club, Boxing by Bcube Boxing, Kids games by Kids Arena, Street Games by Pampered Kids and Revise walk with Anjali. Physical Literacy days team also celebrated Onam with lot of enthusiasm and fervor.

 

Eatmor, Relaunched In New Avatar

Eatmor, the famous ice cream parlor and snack bar re-launched in all new get up offering new dining experience. Eatmor launched in 2002 has the distinction of introducing midnight buffet culture in the city in 2004. Eatmor as a brand has been a destination for quick bites, frosty scoops, Iconic Tutti Fruity ice cream and Sundaes for 35years. The restaurant with a long history now gets a face lift offering all the more new and unusual dining experience.

Rajesh Malhotra, Corporate General Manager and Amey Marathe, Corporate Chef informed the makeover for the restaurant was necessitated because “Times change and so must restaurant brands”. It will be open for 24hours from breakfast to midnight dinner catering unlimited buffet, extravagant shakes, ice creams, beverages and live station counters. “The buffet features from soups, starters, main course, ice creams, shakes, pizzas, live counter dishes, lemonades, specialty teas to everything that could go beyond our thoughts. Our specialties vary from pink cheese cake lemonade to Ohri’s blend tea latte,” he said.

Retro Festival, A Big Hit With All

Physical Literacy days celebrated theme Retro Festival on one Sunday. All the participants who gathered were dressed in Retro Style and did a street fashion walk which was the main attraction of the event. The Fun Day began with Fusion Fitness by Aamer. As part of the event, Fitness Challenges were held. Kids game corner was organised by Kids Arena and Pampered Kidz. They attracted various school children, who took an active part in all the activities.

Scintillating Dance sessions were held by MK & MJ, which was followed by Maninder Pal Singh’s high energy Bhangra session. Physical Literacy days is turning out to be a platform to showcase and promote young talents. Ten-year-old Lasya of Jain Heritage School took over the crowd grooving to ‘Let her go’ song and ‘Chittiya Kalaya’ dance performance. Another young participant, just seven years amazed the audience with her rhymes. The Physical Literacy days are also high on Garba and Dandiya Festival in association with Dynamic Dance Zone Studio & GRYCS. On the request of the organisers many people participated in large numbers and dressed up for the occasion and came along with Dandiya sticks.
